What TV Show...?
Gakked from anna_tarawiel

01. Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Seasons one and two of The West Wing. Season one of Prison Break. Quantum Leap.

02. Name a show you can‘t miss
*copy & paste anna_tarawiel's answer.* If I watch a show I can't miss one episode.
But let's say Prison Break. For now.

03. Name an actor who would make you more inclined to watch a show:
I'm not sure. Bradley Whitford? Worked for Studio 60, at least partially.

04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
No one I can think of right now. But there probably are plenty.

05. Name a show you can and do quote from:
The West Wing.

"They’re gonna try and bait me." - "They want you to say something arrogant." - "I don’t need baiting for that."

"Victory is mine! Victory is mine! Great day in the morning people. Victory is mine! I drink from the keg of glory, Donna. Bring me the finest muffins and bagels in all the land."

"About a week ago, I accidentally slept with a prostitute." - "Accidentally? I don’t understand. Did you trip over something?"

"Wow, are you stupid!"

"You can conquer the world, like Charlemagne, but you better be prepared to kill everyone and you better start with me cause I will raise up an army against you and I will beat you!"

"Okay, before we go on. C.J., if blood is gushing from the head wound you just received from a stampeding herd of bison, you’ll do the press briefing."

And last but not least: "What's next?"

06. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
I don't know. Star Trek?
Long ago, people around me didn't want to watch The West Wing. Go figure.

07. Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
It's really better for everybody that I do not sing. At all. But inwardly? Ally McBeal.
And now, I want to watch Ally McBeal!

08. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
The West Wing is so obvious that I won't even bother to name it.
Quantum Leap. Doctor Who 2005 - um, especially the "first" season... with Nine *g*

09. Name a TV series you own
Only one? ^_^
The West Wing. Sex & the City. Six Feet Under. Prison Break. Profit. The Avengers, Mrs Peel's era

10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops in television
I don't know.

11. What is your favorite episode of your favorite series?
Celestial Navigation (The West Wing).

12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch but you just haven’t gotten around to yet
Probably Life on Mars.
Um, hi, niennanou *g*

3. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
I don't know if I quit watching because it was so bad, but E.R. ended up boring me to death.

14. Name a show that‘s made you cry multiple times
Mutiple times? Maybe E.R. or Ally McBeal.

15. What do you eat when you watch TV?
Cookies.
Breakfast on the weekends.

16. How often do you watch TV?
Not that often actually. I used to be a TV addict, though.

17. What's the last TV show you watched?
I'm not really watching anything right now. So I guess an episode of The West Wing.

18. What's your favorite/preferred genre of TV?
Drama, probably.

19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Star Trek: TOS. Fascinating! *g*

20. What TV show do you wish you never watched?
Maybe Star Trek: Enterprise. It was painful. Poor Star Trek. Poor Scott Bakula. Neither of you deserved that.

21. What is the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Once again, I'll copy and paste anna_tarawiel's answer - Nip/Tuck. Except if Profit can be labeled as "weird".

22. What TV show scared you the most?
A British anthology that aired in the 80's, titled "Thriller". Not sure it was its original title, though. I was young and impressive - and it was creepy.

23. What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Friends.

Yep. Non seulement je t'incite à regarder des trucs, mais en plus, une fois que tu les regardes... je ne suis pas *bweg*

How can people not love Star Trek? That's just wrong.

Now I got that darn Ally McBeal song stuck in my head.
Clair de Luneclair_de_lune on November 27th, 2007 08:50 pm (UTC)
I know! But I think Star Trek has a very very geeky reputation around here - the guy with the pointed ears, the guys in pajamas, technobabble... Blah.

Now I got that darn Ally McBeal song stuck in my head.
I know the feeling ^__^

*dances*

I've been down this road.... walking the line....

Besides, I have given up caring about geeky. I mean, heck I adore watching cracky Indian music movies. As long as it's amusing to me, to heck what every one else thinks.

But Star Wars? Especially the only ones... those are classics!

Besides, gotta love those terrible, old special effects.
Clair de Lune: quantum leapclair_de_lune on November 27th, 2007 09:13 pm (UTC)
I really don't care about geeky either. If people won't watch it, it's their loss *smug smile*

I've never seen Star Wars, which I guess makes me an alien ^_^

Besides, gotta love those terrible, old special effects.
You mean, like the ship shaking weirdly or a giant holographic hand holding it? ♥
The Good, The Bad and The Lanathelana on November 27th, 2007 09:17 pm (UTC)
My favorite is still this one episode where there are these aliens and one latches onto Spock and they can't remove it and they all think and he going to die and he is all stoic, but slowly breaking up...

I always call that "Oh, the episode with the pancakes". Because that alien thing that falls on Spock looks like a pancake dropping from the ceiling :D

Very Friends-like way to name episodes *g*
I remember that one: Operation - Annihilate! (apparently, there also were awful titles...) I had to look up for the title, huh. Honestly :-p
I have a soft spot for The Trouble With Tribbles. Triblles are just too cute *rolls ayes*
The Good, The Bad and The Lanathelana on November 27th, 2007 09:29 pm (UTC)
Have you seen the DS9 episode that revisits Trouble With The Tribbles?

I like original Star Trek, DS9 and Next Generation. Don't really care for Voyager, Enterprise or Babylon 5 et al.
Clair de Luneclair_de_lune on November 27th, 2007 09:43 pm (UTC)
Yes, I have. Only once and I don't remember it very well, but I've seen it.
My favs are the original series and DS9 - I like TNG and Voyager but not as much. Not easy to catch Babylon 5 here, because it didn't aired on a network, I've seen only a few episodes.

I loooooooove DS9. Love the overarching stories. And they probably had the most intersting female characters of the whole franchise in Kira and Dax.

The original Star Trek is really mostly nostalgia and fun watching to me, but DS9 I just really love unabashedly. It rocked.
Clair de Luneclair_de_lune on November 28th, 2007 08:15 pm (UTC)
I loved Dax and Kira, espcially Kira. Best second in command - after Mr Spock :p

dis ?
c'est normal que la seule langue indiquée soit le français ?
Clair de Lune: twwclair_de_lune on November 27th, 2007 08:53 pm (UTC)
Hum, tu veux dire que tu... euh, tu... ? ^_^

Alo'alohomoraa on November 27th, 2007 09:24 pm (UTC)
je veux dire que je... euh, je... :)

Anna: politicsanna_tarawiel on November 27th, 2007 08:44 pm (UTC)
I wanted to quote TWW but nothing came to my mind which got me really frustrated. I used to know so many of them. At least I can find out which episode yours are from ^_^
Clair de Lune: cj - aieclair_de_lune on November 27th, 2007 08:55 pm (UTC)
To be honest, I have transcripts of the episodes. But still... I had to restrain myself a bit :-p
