SoF
I've been making progress on Story of Faith; slow, painful progress, but progress nonetheless. My problem with SoF is that...

... I hadn't planned a plot for it, not besides "let's fix that stupid ending, and maybe a couple of other stupid things that happened in the fourth season". I don't do plot per se, I'm bad at plot, hence the fact that I usually write one shots. Anyway: plot. I have it. It will need work and polishing when I edit the story, but it's there.

... I'm procrastinating. I always procrastinate, especially with that story, but even more so these days. I'm at the point where I should wrap up everything and write the ending. It means writing important scenes. It means freaking out and, consequentially, procrastination.

... I'm not respecting my planning at all. The plan was to have the first draft finished by mid-November, and the final version by mid-January. And mwahahaha!!! I had this brilliant idea during my Summer vacation, when I could write daily. When I'm working... can't write on a daily basis. I always delude myself that I will mabage to do it, but the key word here is 'delude'.

Still. I have 36.500 words and about 80% of the whole story so YAY.

Don't we all procrastinate? Don't we usually get things finished anyway? I think so! *high fives*

Fixing that stupid ending works for me and I feel by doing that the plot will fall into place...so far your What happened to Michael following his "death" feels to me like a fixing-the-sucky-ending plot anyway. :)

And 80% of the story is done? This surely means with me doing the cheerleader role you'll do it!!

LOL, well initially, that was the plan, indeed. But initially, I also thought that the fic would be 10.000 or 12.000 words at worst/best and would be kind "so here is what happened" a bit like when I wrote Back to Chicago. But I have 38.000 words and I'm not done - what could work for a one-shot can't work for a multi-chaptered, longer story :-p

I'm counting on 42.500 words (maybe 45.000 because I'm starting to write chapters where the action will be more detailed) so I'd say that it's even 90% \o/ No way I don't finish it now... it's only a matter of time ;) Especially with my personal cheerleader cheerleading *hugs*
