| Stolen from domfangirlYou're stranded on a desert island. The upside? You have a fancy solar-powered iPod that can play video. The downside? You can only choose five episodes (maximum of one hour in length) from five different TV shows.
There are rules: choosing an episode that's only a half-hour long doesn't allow you any more room, and you can't give up one show to make room for a two-parter from another. You have to choose five different shows, and you're only allowed one episode from each.1 - Celestial Navigation - The West Wing 2 - The Leap Home, part II - Quantum Leap 3 - Mission... Highly Improbable - The Avengers 4 - Riots, Drills and the Devil, part II - Prison Break 5 - Mirror, Mirror - Star Trek This is a cruel meme. I need, at least, the first two seasons of The West Wing. Some Boston Legal. Some Friends. Some...

| Stolen from chatty_cat and burntcircles. Guess the show they're from. Extra points if you can guess the character and the episode. And like chatty_cat said, Please don't guess the episode because I usually won't know myself! :-p 1- "See? He's her lobster!" (Phoebe on Friends) Guessed by wrldpossibility. Character guessed by chatty_cat. 2- "I really think I’m the best judge of what I mean, you paranoid Berkeley shiksa feminista! Whoa. That was way too far." - "No, no. Well, I’ve got a staff meeting to go to and so do you, you elitist, Harvard fascist missed-the-Dean’s-list-two-semesters-in-a-row Yankee jackass!" (Josh and CJ on The West Wing) Guessed by alohomoraa3- "What about senior partners? There would be nothing wrong with me, lusting, say, after... you? Would there?" - "Go subscribe to National Geographic. Make a list of the places you'll never get to visit. Add to that list, Schmidt." (Alan Shore and Shirley Schmidt on Boston Legal) Guessed by tokenblkgirl. 4- "He may be an idiot, but he's my idiot. The only one who terrorises him is me." (Miss Parker on The Pretender, talking about Broots) Guessed by alohomoraa5- "They call them cling ons." - "Did you say Klingons?" (Alan Shore and Denny Crane on Boston Legal) Guessed by reality_escapee6- "I’m supposed to give you a physical this evening. Let me apologize in advance for the heavy dose of irony we’re about to participate in." (Sara to Lincoln on Prison Break) Guessed by alohomoraa7- "Victory is mine! Victory is mine! Great day in the morning people. Victory is mine! I drink from the keg of glory, Donna. Bring me the finest muffins and bagels in all the land." (Josh on The West Wing) Guessed by alohomoraa8- "Don't make me lie to you." (Michael on Prison Break) Guessed by wrldpossibility9- "What makes your problems so much bigger than everybody else's?" - "They're mine." (Georgia and Ally on Ally McBeal) Guessed by tokenblkgirl. 10- "What's next?" (POTUS on The West Wing) Guessed by alohomoraa | |

Gakked from stars_of_tearsI'm not very faithful: I tend to love them and leave them. Proof is, I can't really remember my old favorite couples. Except maybe for Jarod and Parker (The Pretender), Josh and Donna (The West Wing) or, in a platonic, friendly way, Sam and Al (Quantum Leap) or Denny Crane and Alan Shore (Boston Legal). Or... okay, actually, I've had a lot of 'favorite couple'. Even if right now I'd be tempted to answer Michael and Sara from Prison Break, I'm afraid that in a few months/years, I'll have changed my mind. So I'll go with an old classic and say Mrs. Peel and John Steed (The Avengers). Because they were classy, smart and clever and we never really knew if they were a couple - except that they totally were obviously *g*

| The meme itself is here. Several "If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ships actually happened. So I guess I will indeed need a spork ;-) And a lot of "I don't know" for "Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ships because I'm not often involved enough in the fandom to actually have an idea. ( Read more... )Thanks everybody for playing :-) | |

| Stolen from camille_mikoName a fandom and I'll tell you my... One True Pairing Ship: Canon Ship: "If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship: "You are one sick bastard" Ship: "I dabble a little" Ship: "It's like a car crash" Ship: "Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship: "Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" Ship: "Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship: I don't think that I can provide answers for a lot of shows, so I'd probably better name them. Let's say Prison Break, The West Wing, Bones, Boston Legal, Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9), The Pretender. Possibly Quantum Leap and Veronica Mars. | |
