Prison Break - Unmade on Earth
Title: Unmade on Earth
Author: clair_de_lune
Characters: Veronica, Jane
Genres: Gen, crackfic.
Rating: PG
Word Count: ~ 290
Disclaimer: Not mine. Just borrowing them for a while.
Summary: “Sara dumped us and went back among them.”
Notes: This is a sequel for An Association Made In Heaven. You should probably read that one first if you want the whole thing to make sense. Not that there's a chance it does make sense but... whatever ;) Thanks to slysionnachnano for the read-through.

“She dumped us, you know.”

“Who?”

“Sara. She dumped us and went back among them.”

“Don’t be like that, Veronica. It was a one time opportunity. She wasn’t going to pass up on it. She has things to take care of.”

“You mean you’re okay with this?”

“...”

“You’re really okay with this. In two seconds, you’re going to tell me that you’d rather be down there!”

“...”

“Don’t throw me that look! I don’t mean down there. I mean... You know what I mean. I can’t believe you. After I had to talk them into letting you in?”

“I have unfinished business.”

“With Lincoln?”

“Yes...”

“...”

“... among a lot of other things.”

“...”

“Okay, this is awkward. I have unfinished business with the Company. They fucking tried to gut me when they kidnapped LJ.”

“You may want to watch your language around here, Jane.”

“Sorry. You’re right. I’m not of the vengeful type, but I don’t like being screwed like that.”

“...”

“Sorry again.”

“So if you could, you’d go back?”

“It’s not like there was any evidence or hard proof that I’m... not perfectly alive. It’s just speculations on their part. But if it happened, I would miss you like hell.”

“Which is where you’ll end up if you keep that up. You’re still on probation here.”

“You’re absolutely right. I know you had to outdo yourself to save my ass... my butt, and I really appreciate that. And I’m sorry I ruffled your feathers.”

“Is this a joke about my wings?”

“I wouldn’t dare.”

“The three of us. It was an association made in Heaven. We deserved it, you know? And now, it’s been unmade on Earth.”

“It’s not unmade, Vee.”

“No?”

“It’s just postponed. You know... Sooner or later...”

Awww...

Loved the slight snark between Vee and Jane. In fact, it was really great visualising the two of them together.

Great job.

I wrote Made in Heaven a while ago and the show totally invalidated it - not that I'm complaining. I had to do something about that. Hence the sequel :-p
Thank you!

Why are you so hilarious? I love you. Thanks for making my morning--hell, maybe even my day. Ooops, sorry Vee. :D

Well, we do not have any proof that she's indeed dead, right?
Thanks a lot for commenting. Me happy it made you laugh :D

I love this just like I loved the first one.

Thank you! This one is probably a bit more crackastic. Not that the first one was serious, but well... ;)

It would have been awesome if Jane and Vee had ever got to meet in the show. With Lincoln maybe caught in the middle...bunny! Heaven, Vee and Jane and winged!Lincoln the object of their desire!! *cackles*

The idea of being on probation in Heaven?!! Hilarious!

A very enjoyable sequel! :)

Lincoln ended up caught between Sara and Jane in Self-Indulgence..., but no wings, sadly. I'd say that after that fic, he may have to wait for some time before getting something looking even remotely like fluffy wings *facepalm* Threesome including his brother's girlfriend?! No wings.

Vee is a better (pleading) lawyer than anyone would think, because getting Jane in there was probably not easy at all!

I miss writing gen, and wanting to write gen, even cracky gen... ;-)

I've added Self-Indulgence to my memories for later...got a big beta going on right now! ;-)

I'd say that after that fic, he may have to wait for some time before getting something looking even remotely like fluffy wings.

Naughty Linc...dragging your brother's girlfriend into a threesome is no way to earn one's wings!

Vee certainly did a great job of pleading Jane's case!! A better job than defending Michael following a bank robbery! :-D

I miss writing gen, and wanting to write gen, even cracky gen... ;-)

I miss reading gen, even cracky gen...we need to write that wrestling fic we discussed since there was no smut in that; just crackiness!! ;-)

Fair warning: Of Self-Indulgence... is het and femslash, rather heavy femslash. Also, just to be sure I was clear, it's not a wing!fic, and it's not related to those two ficlets. I mentioned it because we were talking of Lincoln trapped between two women, but no wings.

Naughty Linc...dragging your brother's girlfriend into a threesome

Oh, sweetie, if you think Lincoln was the one to do the dragging... *g*

A better job than defending Michael following a bank robbery! :-D

Poor Vee wasn't a criminal lawyer, was she? I'm betting she did her best, but Michael did want to be convicted in the first place. Actually, I thought this morning when I rewached the ep that it was a bit mean of him to have her defend him :-/ She was bound, and supposed, to fail.

we need to write that wrestling fic we discussed

You do the writing, I do the harassing cheering?
Maz (or foxxy!): Hot Muchtuesdaeschild on June 17th, 2011 11:36 am (UTC)
Heavy in the femslash? No wings? I might still give it a try!! Lincoln trapped between two women has to be worth a go, surely?!! :)

if you think Lincoln was the one to do the dragging

You're right; Lincoln is not always the main instigator of smut!

Poor Vee wasn't a criminal lawyer, was she?...Actually, I thought this morning when I rewached the ep that it was a bit mean of him to have her defend him :-/ She was bound, and supposed, to fail.

Yes, it was rather mean of Michael. Poor Vee was chosen to fail, wasn't she? He can be rather cruel at times.

I do the harassing cheering?

So what am I waiting for?!! ;)
Clair de Lune: pb - michaelclair_de_lune on June 19th, 2011 11:42 am (UTC)
Heavy in the femslash *nods* Sara and Jane like to tease Lincoln. And they also just like each other, it seems :-p

He can be rather cruel at times.
He could be ruthless, especially during the first season, not by nature of course, but because he was so totally driven by saving Lincoln. Which was an aspect (or flaw?) of the character that I loved.

So what am I waiting for?!! ;)
I wonder too ;)
A while ago you also mentioned a Michael/Lincoln/Sucre one... Just sayin' of course.

Teasing Lincoln is always good sport!! *g* And I can imagine that Sara and Jane, had they ever met, would have got on well since they are both strong women. It therefore follows they might take it to the next level!

but because he was so totally driven by saving Lincoln. Which was an aspect (or flaw?) of the character that I loved.

I'm not sure it was actually a flaw. If you looked at it from Lincoln's POV it would have been a virtue but from anyone else's viewpoint it probably would be a flaw. But I suppose we shouldn't condemn Michael totally because he was prepared to make so many personal sacrifices to save his brother; his comfortable life, his career, his toes...and his beautiful skin! So maybe he wasn't as ruthless as I first considered! And you're right; it was his drive and his determination that made his character so appealing, wasn't it?

I wonder too ;)

I think I'm waiting for the muse to wake up again!!

A while ago you also mentioned a Michael/Lincoln/Sucre one... Just sayin' of course.

I made a start on it. I did! So it's in my documents patiently waiting...

I had them meeting in a a small PWP set between S3 and S4, in which Jane implies she saved Sara, and Sara begs to differ :-p

I see it as a flaw, whoever's POV I take - although Lincoln would be more willing to excuse him, I guess ^__^ - because it became an obsession, and he was ready to sacrifice a lot of things and endanger a lot of people. But I love my fav characters flawed; it makes them more interesting and touching - and perfect characters tend to make me either yawn or roll my eyes anyway. In this case, you may or may not approve, but it makes the character facsinating and shows the measure of his devotion. So yay for flaw :-p

I think I'm waiting for the muse to wake up again!!

I really can imagine Jane doing things behind the scenes to help the good guys so it doesn't take a huge leap to believe that scenario. :)

because it became an obsession, and he was ready to sacrifice a lot of things and endanger a lot of people.

I suppose it did and he did. No one could blame Lincoln for excusing him, though. But you're right and flawed characters are always far more interesting than those without flaws. I'm definitely with you in yay for flaw because bland is no fun!!

*shakes Muse*

Blowing a trumpet in his ear might work! ;)

They never clearly said she was dead, so as far as I'm concerned, she's not. After all, they killed Michael and, as far as I'm concerned, he's still alive ;)

I never believed Jane was dead either. And it's very easy to ignore the fact that they killed Michael. A gravestone is no proof. ;)

I know. *sighs*
