Summary: I’m not going to summarize a 100 words drabble! ;)
Notes: Written for the Hiatus Challenge #10: Snapshot Drabble at [info]pbhiatus_fic.


He wants to cry the first time he speaks with Sara on the phone. At first because he’s frustrated and pissed off that the Company use those methods to get what they want – whatever it is that they want from him. And then because, over the phone, his Dad and Uncle Mike are talking to him, comforting him, assuring him that she is alive. Her voice is low and a bit shaky, but still conveys the warmth and care that sustained him through their captivity.

He doesn’t cry, obviously. But he breathes in deeply for the first time in days.

Oh, wonderful! I'm really looking forward to some interaction between LJ and Sara in S4 and your version of it was just beautiful.

Loved it.
Drabbles are so often underestimated, ppl think its easy to write something "short and sweet", but to write a really good drablle, to express some deep thought and press some really good writing into 100 words, THATS the real challenge. Thats the most difficult thing and youve mastered it perfectly.:)
You girls here are all so talented, its always such a joy to read all your submissions and fics and ideas. I lvoe this place so much because its literally buzzing with enthusiasm, talent and bright ideas, as well as open-minded friendship.
Lol, sorry to babble away, I just wanted to let you know I really appreciated your work.

I'd never written a drabble in English before because I dreaded the word count thing *g* but weirdly, it's been easier than when I try in my own language. Go figure. Stroke of luck, I guess :p I'm glad the drabble worked for you.

[info]pbhiatus_fic is a nice comm, isn't it? The mods always have great challenge ideas.

I don't know if LJ's going to be around or not for s4 but I would LOVE to see a tender moment of reunion between him and Sara!

Great work on this. Very short but so much emotion captured. Powerful writing! ♥

I really don't know either. I've been weak and read a few spoilers, but not that much :p But I'm with you on that, Sara and LJ actually sharing a bit of screen time would be nice.
